Two men standing in front of a stone wall with columns

If you are a fan of magical, romatic, fairytale Wedding venues, this post is a treat:-) As a Irish Wedding Photographer I have a great privilege to travel across this beautiful country and discover amazing places, that I would probably never had opportunity to know if I was in different profession. Belleek Castle is definitely one of those places which stole my heart and I’m constantly surprised about how much it has to offer.
The building itself is built in the 19th Century Neo-Gothic style which make amazing backdrop for wedding photos. Beautifully located in the banks on the famous River Moy that flows into the Atlantic Ocean, just outside Ballina. The gardens are a beautiful scenery for photographs on the day but in case of bad, rainy day – there are many romantic photographic opportunities inside as well. It’s one of those venues, great for big (up to 200 guests) weddings but also for small, intimate events plus it offers several options to choose from for civil ceremonies. Elopement wedding at Belleek Castle? Couldn’t be more right!

I look forward to meeting you there!

A large stone building

Preparations took place in the castle and started from slow, relaxing breakfast. Both grooms decided to get ready together which made it handy for me to create photographs without jumping between two places. The lovely intimate ceremony has held in a beautiful rustic room beside castle and I just loved the design, specially a brickwork which has been left to keep the original character of the building. I loved all the laughs and tears of joy during ceremony and speeches later on in the evening. Without any doubt it was one of the most emotional weddings that I had opportunity to witness and it was wonderful to see how everybody got along.
