As you probably know – a professional engagement session is a complimentary addition to every package in my offer. You ask yourself – why?
It’s very simple.
I realize that most photographers choose not to include pre-wedding session in all of their wedding packages but when it comes to me, I treat this as a MUST HAVE.
Basically because those sessions are a great way to get to know you better and make you feel even more comfortable in front of my camera during one of the most importnant days in your life. An added bonuses are that you can get to know your photographer too + they can be so much fun. Not only are you going to get some professional images that you can use for a specific purpose (for example Save the Date cards), but it’s also a great practice for you wedding day. Would this mean that your engagement session will be staged? Not at all. The ”poses” that we would work with are really just a navigation. That’s means that I might ask you to talk to each other the entire time and not to look at me, hold each other hands or stand a little closer. I might have you take a walk in some direction but what I’m really looking for are those in-between moments while you make each other laugh and natural interactions between you.
